Creative Process

Besides our regular participants, Ostrovok involves a multitude of volunteer work. Our volunteers help with set and costume design, makeup, and they find solutions for many technical challenges. Thanks to their hard work backstage, each of our productions becomes truly wondrous.

The modern state of our theatre, the props collected over many years and our rich costume loft only exist thanks to the tireless work and continued support of our volunteers. We would like to emphasize with special gratitude the work of Evgeny and Tatiana Pluzhnikov, Alexander Zouev, Irina and Anatoly Sitonin, Igor Yusipenko and Alena Gavrilenko.
